Subir was previously a partner in a large consulting practice and Keith has worked with many of the larger consulting organizations over the years both in the UK and US. Too often they saw projects being overcomplicated and client’s interests becoming secondary. They believe that the interests of the clients and staff should always be a priority. It is well known that happy staff are more productive and produce better client work.
When it comes to our clients we pride ourselves in making the complex simpler and easier to understand. We believe in working with the client rather than doing the work ‘to them’, this ensures we really are giving the client what they need. We see success as exceeding our clients expectations through our thought provoking nature.
When it comes to our staff we provide personal development opportunities for career development and operate a flat hierarchy based on mutual respect and an open door policy. We regularly acknowledge and reward our staff by bringing everyone together for events and team building exercises.
As a result of our unique approach, our clients have typically stuck with us. We often become part of the client’s team and stay as trusted advisors. Our US clients include PVH, Tommy Hilfiger, Macy’s and Lululemon amongst others. Our clients also extend into the UK and Europe, where we’ve worked with well know retail brands such as John Lewis, Arcadia, Shop Direct, Superdry, Boohoo amongst others.

We understand that we work with people and not just resources and we believe if we make TPC a good place to work where enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude are highly valued that we will maintain the highest standard of work for our clients.
With typically over 15 years’ experience our consultants have the deep domain expertise in the areas of your business that you most need. The company has a deliberate mix of staff with consulting backgrounds and retail operational backgrounds. This is to provide a mix of analytical skills with a grounding in what works in the real world.
Thought Provoking Consulting has developed a collegiate model which enables us to offer a bespoke service to our clients. This model also allows us to develop a collaborative approach that supports co-operation with other specialists or consultancies that is not always viable in larger firms.
We prefer small project teams too, typically no more than 5 and never more than 10 people. Large projects are not always the best thing for clients. Small, carefully selected, 2 or 3 man projects are often what makes most sense.
